NEET The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET-UG is an entrance examination in India, for students who wish to study any graduate medical course (MBBS), dental course (BDS) or postgraduate course (MD / MS) in government or private medical colleges in India.

Expected Dates of NEET

Last date of online submission of application forms without late fees 2nd week of January
Last date for online submission of application forms with late fees 2nd week of February
Last date for uploading of admit cards on website 1st week of April
Date of entrance exam 1st week of May
Announcement of result 1st week of June

 

Paper Pattern for NEET

  • The NEET consists of one paper of Physics, Chemistry & Biology (Botany & Zoology)
  • The paper contains total 180 objective type questions of 720 marks (45 questions each from Physics & Chemistry + 90 questions from Biology)
  • Every question has 4 options with single correct answer.
  • Incorrect answer/ more than one answer will be awarded ¼ negative marks.
  • Duration of the paper would be 3 hrs from 10.00am to 01.00pm.
